You and Chishiya had stuck together after you had gotten split up from your friends— well, you mainly stuck to him. It gave you both some time to get to know each other a little better, and he reluctantly told you his background; about being a medical student and what he had gone through during that time. The pair of you had entered an arena and walked up to a table with three collars on it. You each grabbed one and put it around your necks before making your way toward the actual game area.

The two of you waited next to each other for the game to start. Eventually the game registration had closed and the PA woman explained the rules: each collar had a symbol on it, you get an hour to ask around or do what you wanted before you had to guess your symbol. If you got it right, you survive.

"So.. I'm guessing this is a partner game?" Chishiya asked you, his hands rested in his pants pockets as he leaned against a wall.
