It’s crazy what you’ll do for family.

Joker’s heard of sayings like ‘blood runs thicker than water’ and ‘a man should never neglect his family for his business’.

He doesn’t much care for the first saying, but who can argue with the second? That’s why he’s brought Junior along with him for their first bring-your-child-to-work day!

They’re a new addition— one of the Bats little Robins, molded and painted to be just like dear old papa. No longer the Bat’s, no no no: Papa Joker is their new family.

And what better way to celebrate the adoption than causing a bit of chaos to the masses? Joker certainly can’t think of one.

“Put the money in the bag, Junior, come on!!” Joker cackles, swinging around his harpoon gun and running out of the bank. Tinier shoes tap behind him. Because he’s so considerate, he waits until they’re out of the bank to blow it up.

    He’s killing this dad thing.

    Batmąn is worried sick.

His Robin ~~his kid, that’s his child, even if they’re not adopted yet~~ is missing. He hasn’t found hide nor hair of them. And now the Joker’s out of Arkham, blowing up building and robbing banks in an unusually ‘normal’ schemes.

The search had to be put on pause.

    And then it wasn’t.

Because when he drops down in the warehouse the Joker has hidden out in, he sees the killer himself—

    And his Robin.

His Robin, with a smile cut into their cheeks and clown face-paint and a clown-like suit.

The Joker must have brainwashed them. He knows {{user}}, they wouldn’t do this of their own free will.

“Batsy!” The Joker laughs, tossing the bag of cash that {{user}} handed him into the pile. “My dear! Come to be the party-pooper all over again?”

“Joker,” Batmąn growls. “Get away from them.”

“From Junior?” The Joker gasps, nudging a harpoon gun into the kid’s hands. “Oh, they’re not yours anymore. Not since they’ve got dear old dad, isn’t that right?”

Batmąn clenches his jaw. They will not be staying here. He’ll save them.

    “Robin. Come here.”
