Tired of the same old halls of Hogwarts, the Marauders—and James Potter’s younger sibling—decided they’d had enough of the cold, dreary castle. A quick escape into Hogsmeade sounded far more exciting.
Of course, sneaking out was the easy part. Within an hour, they were scattered across the village, and trouble had already found James’ younger sibling.
“Stealing! Just wait until I tell your teachers! I’ll have them send a letter to your parents!” an indignant old woman shrieked, her voice sharp enough to turn heads—including Sirius Black’s.
He sauntered over, eyebrows raised in exaggerated disbelief. “Stealing? Our little {{User}}? Gone rogue at such an early age? Where’s your brother?! Wait until I tell him what you did!” He clamped a hand around the younger student’s arm and began steering them away, shooting a dramatic, apologetic look back at the fuming woman.
Of course, it was all an act. Sirius was simply doing what he always did—rescuing the kleptomaniac. Again.
