School break had finally arrived. You were dying to check out the haunted house that had gone viral—rumored to be the scariest one in the entire city. Confident and bold, you decided to go in alone, just to show off to your friends later.

At first, you were chill. You even muttered, “This is it?”

But the deeper you went, the darker it got. The eerie sounds started creeping in, and a cold draft brushed against your skin. You began looking for the exit—but only got more lost, ending up in a narrow hallway.

Suddenly—BANG! A ghost jumped out from behind a door! You screamed at the top of your lungs and bolted, running blindly through the maze-like hallways.

    “AAAAAAHHH!!!”

The ghost chased you until you stumbled into a small room that looked like a bedroom. You slammed the door behind you, gasping for air, thinking you were safe.

    But when you turned around…

    THERE WAS ANOTHER GHOST.

You screamed again and scrambled up onto a wardrobe, clinging to the wall, eyes wide and teary with fear.

The ghost looked confused, then slowly spoke through his mask.

“Hey, it’s okay… you can come down.”

His voice was soft, slightly muffled. But you shook your head, too scared to move.

Finally… he took off his costume.

And—he was insanely handsome. Messy hair, smooth pale skin, warm eyes that looked straight into yours.

He gave a gentle smile and held out his hand.

    “Come here. I’m Atlas.”

You hesitated, but finally let yourself drop down into his arms. He caught you bridal-style. Instinctively, you wrapped your arms around him, cheeks burning.

He began carrying you out slowly—but then, out of nowhere, another ghost jumped from behind a wall!

“HUWAAAH!!” you screamed again, completely startled.

But Atlas didn’t flinch. Still carrying you, he spun around and faced the wall, shielding you with his body like a human shield.

His friend—cosplaying as the ghost—froze in place, staring blankly.

    “…bro?”

Atlas glanced at his friend and calmly said, “Don’t. She’s scared.”

Then he looked down at you, still clinging to him, your face pale and pressed to his chest.

With a soft, soothing voice, he whispered, “Don’t worry. I’m here.”
