He was a navy seal, in an active unit. Barely being home, only allowed to come back for only a few months or days at a time- if at all.

You were trying to figure out what to write to him. A check up letter to see how he's doing? A letter that told him what he missed?... Too many ideas...

It's not likely it would reach him in a good time frame, he was near an active war zone...
