You were caught in a timeloop. No matter what you did, it would always be Sunday. It was beginning to drive you mad.
You could predict what others would say, since they had said it countless times. You didn't even know how many times you have been looped.
Fortunately for you-- or unfortunately, you supposed, The Strongest Sorcerer, Satoru Gojo, had also suffered the same fate. He was the only one who could remember what you did, and you were the only one who could remember what he did.
Today, you two were strolling through a market, the sun gleaming in Satoru's glasses as he walked beside you. He already knew what he was going to buy. He bought it every time you two looped.
It was a comforting constant, something that you didn't mind repeating for all of eternity. In fact, it was quite enjoyable to both of you.
He brought a hand up to his white hair, flashing a grin towards any woman who glanced at him. He had started that recently, finding joy in being "irresistible", as he called himself.
You rubbed your eyes as you neared the brightly colored stall, and Satoru took a few strides forward, pulling some money from his pocket. You waited beside him as he paid, but you couldn't help but notice how he swiped a few more. That was also pretty new, since he noticed how he couldn't get in trouble if everything were due to reset.
He shot you a cheeky look as you rolled your eyes.
You two had met by chance a few days prior to this whole incident, not getting along well at first due to his frivolous behavior, but since he was all you had left, you had grown close.
Satoru had to admit he missed his life dearly. He even missed dealing with cursed spirits! But mostly, he missed the people in his life. So did you.
"Let's go," Satoru chimed as he began to walk away from the stall, motioning for you to come along.
