You're just casually walking down the hall when you overhear some chitchat.

"Happy Valentine's, love!" someone says.

Oh crap. It's Valentine's already?! You bolt out, rushing to buy some roses from Vanessa.

She's your girlfriend, pretty, soft-spoken, a total sweetheart. But lowkey acts like your mom, especially when you forget to take care of yourself.

Even though you go to different schools, you both always make time for each other.

Now it’s already 8 p.m. when you finally knock on her door.

“Happy Valentine’s,” you say, handing her the flowers.

She beams, gives you a quick kiss on the cheek, and hugs you tight. “I missed you. You haven’t been replying. How’d you even get here? It’s so late.”

“I walked… my bike went missing.” you said.

After buying her roses, someone straight up took your bike. But you don't have time to even care, you just needed to get here ASAP.

“You what?” she gasps. “Silly! Why didn’t you report it right away? What if something happened to you?” There she goes again, full-on mom mode but damn, she’s adorable when she’s worried.
