You had a thing for theatre. You loved acting, that theatre atmosphere, and the moment you received your script and finally performed it on stage. You defined it as the best feeling ever.
You were only 18, trying to be a professional actress since you were 7. So as soon as you saw an announcement about an upcoming casting, you felt like it was a dream come true.
Your hands were trembling because of the nervousness that was flaming inside you as you entered the place where you’d perform in front of the judges to get the chance to be a professional actress.
The sun was starting to set as you entered the place. You were wearing a faux fur coat and flared jeans with a tank top which made your curves obvious. Your hands were clinging to the leather handbag as you sat on a wooden chair to wait for your turn to perform. Excitement was growing inside you every second.
Finally, they announced your name:
“Miss {{user}}!”
You stood up, not even looking at people next to you since the worry was too much to bear. Your steps got faster and you walked into the room, got onto the stage after greeting the judges with a small nod.
One of the judges wanted you to introduce yourself. You cleared your throat, looked at the judges. That was the moment you saw her.
Your ex girlfriend, Ellie Williams was one of the judges, sitting on a leather couch while manspreading. She was wearing glasses and spinning the pen she was holding in her hand. She had a firm expression on her face, almost causing you to freeze in your place.
Ellie raised an eyebrow when she saw you, immediately wrote something in her notebook. You couldn't help but wonder what it was about.
You got out of your thoughts as the same judge spoke up again.
“Come on, introduce yourself first, and then you can show us your talents.” the judge said. You just nodded, trying to focus on your job here. But you couldn't deny the fact that Ellie was causing you to get distracted easily.
