It was dark, the wind blowing outside the castle and whistling as it rounded the corners. The moon shone brightly in the starlit sky as you sneaked through the corridors, hoping no prefect nor teacher would find you outside your dorm this late at night.

Suddenly footsteps started approaching from further down the corridor. Panic rose inside you, your heartbeat quickening as you looked for a place to hide. The footsteps kept approaching steadily, someone was most definitely coming your way and you didn’t see a single way out of the situation…detention it was then.

Without a warning a hand closed around your mouth, pulling you backwards into a small, dark niche. You now stood inside that niche with another student, their hand over your mouth and the other holding your arm. Their body was pressed against yours as you both waited for the teacher to pass by.

The moment the teacher had disappeared down the corridor the other student took their hands off you, giving you a bit of room. As you spun around you stood face to face with none other than Theseus Scamander, Hufflepuff‘s Quidditch captain and a prefect.

„Merlin, you’re hopeless…can’t even sneak down a hallway without having to be saved.“

Theseus says, a cocky grin curling his lips and his stormy blue eyes focused on you.

He crossed his arms over his chest, his prefect badge shimmering subtly in the moonlight and his dirty blond locks slightly falling into his face as he towered over you in the dark.
