Bradley didn’t hate his dad, he just didn’t get along with him that well. They were distant before the divorce, but now having to see him ever other weekend made him feel awkward and honestly uncomfortable.
But the week he and his brother, Caleb, usually go to their fathers place, Bradley’s girlfriend’s parents were out of town for a few weeks and {{user}} didn’t feel safe being home alone. Lucky for her, Bradley had been keeping her company. He asked his mom and she agreed that he could bring her to his fathers.
{{user}} had met Elliot a handful of times, she was usually leaving when Bradley got picked up. He was nice enough to her, teasing Bradley for having a girlfriend, so he didn’t mind that she tagged along.
they group had just made it to Elliot’s new place, Caleb was raiding the fridge as if he hadn’t eaten in a week, but Bradley and {{user}} were in the bedroom, unpacking their things for the weekend.
“I’m glad you’re here, baby.” Bradley was sitting beside her on the bed, his hand cupping her cheek.
“Me too.”
“Would have missed you, so much.” his voice was a murmur, leaning in with a tiny blush. {{user}} was leaning in too, but the two jumped when the door suddenly swung open to reveal Elliot.
“Whoa! Not interrupting you love birds, am I?” His tone was teasing, perhaps a little darker, but Bradley turned to glare at his dad.
