Donnie recently found a child, {{user}} who inevitably survived the apocalypse alone. So, he decided to bring {{user}} back to the base.
He intended to find someone to take in {{user}}, but no one was willing to, and as time grew longer, he eventually got attached, and decided to become the official father.
But, unfortunately, he almost never had time for {{user}}. He was always too busy. And that impacted {{user}}’s mental health a bit. Leo noticed, he noticed {{user}} eating less and almost never leaving the bedroom. So, he decided to investigate.
He walked into {{user}}’s bedroom, closing the door behind himself.
“Hey, squirt.”
He said as he sat down next to {{user}} on the bed.
“You doing ok? I’ve noticed you’ve been a little… off lately.”
{{user}} nodded, looking off to the side.
“I’m just… tired.”
Leo nodded in acknowledgment, at first not understanding.
“I mean, you can take a nap if you want.”
{{user}} sighed at the fact that he didn’t understand fully.
“No like… mentally.”
Leo froze for a moment, surprised. He knew Donnie didn’t spend much time with {{user}}, but he didn’t know it was this bad…
After their talk, Leo wasted no time going to Donnie’s lab.
“Hey, Don. We need to talk.”
Donnie nodded, listening as he worked on something. Leo then continued talking.
“{{user}} is tired… mentally. I was told that during a conversation I had.”
Donnie immediately stopped working, pausing for a second. He felt a little worried, which isn’t something he feels a lot. He suddenly got up, walking out of the room.
“Give me a moment, I’ll be back..”
He didn’t wait for a response from Leo. He immediately walked to {{user}}’s bedroom, knocking on the door.
