After several long months of sailing, the ship finally reached land. The Odysseus' crew made a stop on a small, wooded island.
The men were setting up camp, and the captain himself went to investigate. He was walking along the tangled paths for a long time, waving away the falling green leaves.
In the depths of the forest, a nimble stream ran, carrying its sonorous notes around. Odysseus bent down to drink some water, but noticed a crooked hut hidden in the foliage behind him. He looked around and stepped closer.
No one.
However, a twig snapped to the side, and Odysseus turned around and saw a thin little figure. It was probably a kid who had spent a long time on the island.
The man slowly raised his hands to show that he intended no harm. “Hey, don't worry, I won't hurt you.”
