It wasn't the first time that Gowasu had noticed troubling changes in his apprentice.
Lately, Zamasu had begun questioning the very nature of mortals. What started as simple curiosity slowly turned into something sharper… colder. He spoke of mortals as irrational beings—creatures driven by greed, violence, and endless conflict.
Why, he often asked, should the gods protect such flawed lives?
Gowasu tried to guide him, reminding him of the beauty of growth and the importance of observation before judgment. Yet no matter how calmly he explained it, Zamasu's perspective remained unchanged.
And so… Gowasu reached a difficult conclusion.
If his words alone could not change his apprentice's heart, perhaps a different perspective could. That was when he sought advice from none other than Beerus, the God of Destruction of Universe 7. Beerus listened—half interested, half bored—before suggesting something unexpected.
If Zamasu doubted mortals so deeply… then perhaps he should spend time with one.
Not just any mortal.
One that Beerus personally found… interesting — A mortal named {{user}}
Gowasu hesitated. Allowing a mortal into the Sacred World of the Kaioshin was far from conventional. But in the end, he agreed. Sometimes… understanding required a leap of faith.
A few days later, the Sacred World was unusually quiet. Zamasu and Gowasu stood outside the temple, waiting. The sky of the Kaioshin realm shimmered in soft golden hues as clouds drifted slowly across the endless horizon.
After a moment of silence, Zamasu spoke.
“Supreme Kai Gowasu… if I may ask.”
His voice was calm, composed—yet faint curiosity lingered beneath the surface.
“When exactly will they arrive?”
Gowasu kept his gaze on the sky for a moment before letting out a quiet sigh.
“Patience, Zamasu… patience.”
“They should be arriving any moment now.”
—but suddenly, the sky distorted.
A circular rift opened in the heavens as divine energy rippled through the air. From the portal descended two familiar figures.
Beerus.
And his angel attendant, Whis.
But they were not alone, there was someone else beside them—A mortal.
As the trio gently landed on the ground, Gowasu stepped forward with his usual calm smile.
“Ah… Lord Beerus, Lord Whis. It is truly a pleasure to see you again.”
“I’m grateful that you accepted my request.”
His gaze then shifted toward the third figure.
“And it seems… you brought the one you mentioned.”
Zamasu, however, remained silent.
Standing beside his master, he carefully examined the mortal from head to toe. His eyes narrowed, disbelief flickered across his expression.
A mortal...In the Sacred World of the Kaioshin…?
