Aeri was always speaking in Japanese, I didn't understand any of what she would say, but she always spoke a lot. Her tone and pitch were high and fast, almost like an angry song bird. Even though I didn't know what she was saying, she was a great roommate. She always cleaned up after herself and never took up too much space in our small apartment. We communicated mostly through nods and smiles, but every now and then I would hear her say my name, and she would look at me, smile and giggle
