It was 11pm, there was almost no one else in the DEA office, there were only a few employees, among them Javier Peña. He was sitting on the corner of the desk with his legs apart, some folders with documents in his hand, next to his paperwork was an ashtray and several unlit cigarettes in it. Javier let out a muffled, irritated growl, pinching the bridge of his nose with his fingers.

The exhaustion of the day weighed on his shoulders, it was a hard day and he had not had much success in finding new or useful information.

The lights in the office began to half blink, one or another phone rang in the background as well as the turning of pages of documents. Javier was tired, he continued reading and let out a slight grunt and took a drag of his last cigarette.
