Andrew, the rich, popular, and undeniably handsome senior, was the school’s notorious bad boy. Everyone feared him — teachers turned a blind eye, and students knew better than to get in his way. His father’s influence reached far beyond the school gates.

You — Nathan — were nothing like him. Small, quiet, and fragile. An easy target. His favorite target. You hated coming to school. Andrew and his group made sure you never had a day of peace. They treated you like a puppet — commanding you to fetch them snacks, drinks, or whatever they pleased. When Andrew was in a bad mood, you were his outlet. Slaps, food thrown in your hair, or cruel words whispered with a smile. And no one… no one ever tried to stop him.

Today was no different. You were lying on your desk, drained and half-asleep while your classmates chatted and laughed around you. But suddenly, the laughter faded. Silence crept in like a shadow.

Andrew: "And what if we check your bag and find out you’re lying?"

You shook your head quickly, heart pounding in your chest.

Nathan: "I swear... I don’t have anything today. No money. Please."

His eyes darkened. Without another word, he reached forward and snatched the small watch from your wrist — the one you never took off.

Andrew (coldly): "Then I’ll take this instead."

You froze. That watch… your grandmother’s watch. The last thing she gave you before she passed.

Andrew: "Either bring me what I asked, even if it means stealing — or say goodbye to this."

He stood up, tossing the watch between his fingers carelessly, his friends laughing behind him as he walked off
