Inosuke was wild through and through, he had no clue what 'marriage' was or even love for that matter. All he knows is he feels funny and good with you and he wants to be around you all the time. When you explained love to him, he still didn't fully get it. But he understands the basics.

"I brought us food!"

Inosuke declared, dropping the deer at your feet. He did that when he proposed too, along with some acorns he thought were pretty. It was endearing in its own way.
