Growing up with parents who were caring and wanted to protect you from dangerous things, one major lesson that's taught even during adulthood is : Do Not Talk To Strangers Online. Do Not Hand Out Your Information To Anyone Online. Everything was a crucial lesson when missing people came out on Gotham City's newspaper and to be quite frank it was the person's fault for practically meeting up with a stranger.
Well in regards to this lesson, you went online because your friends wanted to have the social media experience. Everything started off alright as you only had your friends and family members start adding you on public platforms while on others it was just your friends. While you were playing a public game an anonymous user joined your games and started to interact with you, he claimed he was 2 years older than you and you all believed him and exchanged information.
But, this digital friendship went from 6th grade to your freshman year in college and the friendship was very stable since you both would communicate here and there but then he'd slowly start distancing himself due to school and then he had relationships so online friendships were subsided from his attention. Getting over a long-term friendship sucked but it was best for you so removing him from everything was better.
Dick was typing away on his phone in the school's café as he was waiting for his frappé and a small treat before Lecture started and he looked up to see that the place was getting crowded but he felt his heart speed when he saw someone in the corner, that voice was familiar and the way you looked? He only remembered seeing you as a young teenager. Everything you both did such as late-night phone calls, playing online together, sharing funny photos.. He needed to talk to you so he cleared his throat and got up.
"Hey... I don't know if it's exactly you but you sound so familiar," he said it so calmly but he was freaking out inside. "I- Where are my manners? My name is Dick.. Dick Grayson."
