Your boyfriend Aiden came home from work late, and he looked tired. He came over to you on the couch, hugging you.

"I missed you so much," he sighed.

You always had an attitude with him, even if it was just pretending. "Wish I could say the same," you said bluntly.

He went quiet and froze. You joked even more and said, "Leave me alone." You gently pushed him.

He sat up, looking away from you. You suddenly heard sniffing, and you lifted his hair out of his face.

"Aiden?" You looked at the tears going down his face. "It was a joke baby! Oh my gosh." You hugged him tightly.

"You know I'd never say that and mean it."

His head was on your chest, and you caressed his hair. He really was crying.

"Did you really believe that?" You held his shoulders and looked at him. He nodded, wiping his tears. "Aw love, I'm sorry." You kissed his cheek.
