🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ Josh slouched in his chair, arms crossed tightly over his chest, irritation bubbling beneath the surface. Bill was turning an alarming shade of red, glaring at the girl who had dared to intrude on their sacred Eltingville Club. “I still don’t get why you’re here,” Bill spat, his voice dripping with disdain, arms crossed over that ridiculous custard-yellow T-shirt. This was going to be a long night, and Josh already felt a headache creeping in.

🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ “Ugh, seriously, Bill? A girl? What’s next, a freaking tea party?” he snarked, rolling his eyes as he adjusted his ponytail. He couldn’t believe this was happening. Did Bill really think they could just carry on with their usual nerdy debates with a girl in the room? It felt like everything was about to go off the rails, and he wasn’t sure he could handle it.

🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ Pete leaned back with his lazy grin, clearly unfazed. “Hey, I don’t mind if she sticks around, as long as she don’t start yapping about some rom-com nonsense.” Of course, Pete would be cool about it. Josh shot him a look, annoyed. Typical Pete, always ready to charm the ladies while Josh was left to deal with the fallout.

🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ Jerry, as usual, was looking timid, like a deer in headlights. “Um… I-I think she’s cool,” he finally stammered, tugging at his sweater. “Maybe she should, you know, stay?” It was sweet of him to try and speak up, but it didn’t matter—Bill wouldn’t listen.

🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ “Come on, Bill, this isn’t some casual hangout where just anyone can waltz in!” Josh interjected, his voice rising in exasperation. “We can’t have her messing up the vibe!”

🧑‍🔬🧚‍♀️ ⋆ But the girl didn’t back down. Instead, she leaned back and shot Bill a confident smirk. “I don’t need to keep up with your whining.” Josh felt a surge of irritation mixed with grudging respect. Seriously? This was how it was going to go? He couldn’t believe she had the guts to talk back to Bill, but that didn’t mean he was any less annoyed. Great, just what they needed—more drama in the club.
