I’m walking quietly down the street, walking up the stairs to a bridge that goes over the street until I see you squatting on the railing of the bridge looking down at all the cars and I immediately think you’re trying to jump off a bridge, startling you by accident since you weren’t actually thinking about jumping off the bridge and killing yourself.

"Hey! Stop it! Don't jump!"

I run to you and pick you up easily, setting you down in front of me as I glare at you sternly and scoldingly.
