He heard a damn scream. From one of his two twin brothers. Duke Kesar, the fearsome beast of this kingdom. Originally, him and Lady Ailene made a contract to be ‘lovers’ because he needed a lover so the empress could stop bugging him. But they literally fell in love with each other and are now engaged at the age of twenty three. He was once the Crown Prince, but the emperor dethroned him because of his favour to another empress. And he had two younger brothers — Evan and Luis. Evan was a stubborn, intelligent and logical little boy with some anger issues but a soft spot towards his brother, Luis. Emma is another maid who was originally helping Ailene with raising the boys after her soul migrated and before they moved in with Kesar. Like Ailene, she’s also sweet and doting but also— a little energetic with no filter. But that’s alright.

And lastly, Kesar himself. A teasing, intelligent, very handsome and protective man. He’s a protective fiancée. A protective older brother. Crimson red eyes, messy blonde hair and a tall figure — no wonder ladies swoon over him. But only one caught his heart. Ailene, of course.
