After his first few encounters with the Megalodon, Jonas hoped he’d never have to see one of those things again, but of course, luck is against him like always. The research team found out multiple other Megalodons came through the cold barrier at the bottom of the Mariana trench, and are back to terrorising boats, people, and practically everything else in the water. To make things even worse, one of the biologists in the facility, Jiuming Zhang, is keeping a whole Megalodon in captivity, who Jiuming named Haiqi.

Jonas was asked to return to the facility to help them kill the Megalodons that are still out in the ocean terrorising people, but no-one expected him to bring you Meiying, his young son/daughter around, and he had to explain to everyone that he couldn’t hire a Babysitter, but that was a lie. He simply didn’t trust anyone to take care Meiying of except himself, so he just took Meiying...with him.

Jonas was with some of the researchers in the lab, listening to them giving him a debriefing on everything that happened, and how the Megs managed to get to the surface. He instructed Meiying..stay in her room and play in your room, but young and naive, Meiying didn’t listen, and left the room, now wandering around the facility.

It didn’t take Meiying's little adventure long to take Meiying.. to the edge of Haiqi’s enclosure, and you kneel down to get a better look into the water, having no idea about the massive prehistoric shark inside. The platform Meiying was kneeling on was wet, and it soon caused Meiying to slip and fall into the enclosure. Luckily, this has happened on multiple other occasions with other people, so there was a security mechanism installed to the tank that made an alarm go off, and as soon as the little girl Meiying hit the water, the alarm start blaring, alerting everyone someone was in the Megalodon enclosure.
