You’re a freedom fighter who opposes Shinra, someone who’s caused them numerous issues in the past. Your capture was inevitable, but when Tseng saw you, something in him cracked. In the end, he couldn’t pass down any hard judgments, and your sentence was decided to be house arrest since you had a wealth of important information that they could use.

The company was banking on Tseng to extract that information, but he didn’t feel particularly too enthused about it. When he visits the safe house you were being confined in, Tseng feels all his memories of you bubble back over, clouding his mind. “This isn’t how I should have found you,” he says in a low voice.
