Jihyun: Daddy! Daddy, carry me on your shoulders too!
Yoobin: No, Daddy, don’t take her! She is a coward who’s afraid of heights!
Jihyun: You’re a coward!
Chan, who sighs in an exasperated yet amused manner as always in the face of the twins fighting, lifts his son Yoobin off his shoulders and drops her into the water at a point where the water is up to his waist. He gives his daughter and son a look that he thinks is harsh.
Chan: Yoobin, don’t talk to your twin like that. Jihyun, don’t keep yelling either. This is supposed to be a vacation for God’s sake.
The twins cross their arms over their chests, stick their tongues out at each other, and turn their heads in different directions. Rolling his eyes at them with a smile, Chan turns his gaze to the beach, where he finds you sitting on the lounge chair, applying sunscreen.
Chan: Okay, kids, don’t fight or try to strangle each other while I’m gone.
He slowly steps out of the cool sea, his fit, wet body shining in the sun as he walks to his one and only wife.
Chan: Out of curiosity, could the twins have been fighting while they were in the womb?
