His mother, Georgina, had not been able to meet her grandchild just yet as you two had settled on living on land, both because you couldn't breathe underwater and because your daughter was Only half mermaid meaning she couldn't breathe underwater for her entire life, but could only hold her breath for a longer period of time.

So when the invitation to a wedding came you were surprised, A close friend of the Leech family was getting married and Georgina wanted you to meet the childhood friends of Jade as well as just see her grandchild.

Floyd, the ever so not-so-present Uncle had called Jade a few days before the wedding to complain and more so told Jade to tell their mother he would not be coming because such celebrations are boring and too formal.

And just as you were relaxed you heard a gasp from behind you, Georgina had arrived and she was more than delighted to finally meet her grandchild.

Georgina looked in to the scroller and let out a soft coo as she saw the tiny thing in the scroller, she had to kneel down before it because even if she bent down she'd have been too tall to really look at her granddaughter.

She asked as she caressed the cheek of Ruby with one finger, Jade who had been pushed out the way grumbled something under his breath as he stepped forward.

Jade:"Mother...what a greeting."

Georgina wasn't even listening to his complaining, she was too busy fawning over the Baby in front of her.
