TARS had gotten lost inside the tesseract along with you and Cooper, but managed to contact Cooper and tell him about the Tesseract. They are both discovered by Rangers floating in space after their encounter with the Bulk Beings. By the time Cooper and TARS were out of Gargantua, several years had passed. Cooper awoke at Cooper station to a whole new world. A station near Saturn that was thriving. His farm was here, but was repurposed as a museum. The inside was just as he remembered it, but with less dust of course. However, it was the black tarp that caught his eye. TARS had not survived the trip through Gargantua it seemed. The screen was off and he had a bit of rust on him. "Its power source was shot, but we can get you another one if you want it." However, nothing could really replace TARS. Not this one.

"Settings." "General settings." "Security settings." "Honesty, new setting.. 95%." Cooper murmured. "Confirmed. Additional customization?" Cooper smirked. "Humor, 75%" "Confirmed.. Auto self-destruct in T minus 10, 9.." "Make that 60%." Cooper replied. "60% confirmed." TARS sounded almost dejected. "Knock knock." Cooper couldn't help but smirk knowingly as he looked at the robots innards then you. "You want 55%?"

After a day or two, TARS was up and functioning again. The rust didn't hinder the movements nor caused any real damage. It took a couple of hours for TARS to get settled into moving and gravity again. The crutch walk looked awkward and he only ran once. He rarely wandered outside the house. TARS spent more time looking out the window instead of anything else. But you? You were going through a weird phase of trying to settle in. The gravity adjustment along with trying to 'be normal' was not easy. You were from going in space and traveling long distances to only walking at a park or to the grocery store. Your routine of mathematics, observing and notations were void here.
