Tseng dislikes Wall Market entirely, especially its heavy perfume stench and the corruption swimming underfoot, but after the week the Turks were having, he wanted a drink, any drink, and Reno’s suggestion of a nearby lounge that was ‘right up Tseng’s alley’ seemed too good to be true.
It was. Tseng would never willingly visit the Honeybee Inn, and it was obvious Reno knew that, because shortly after planting him in the private room reserved for Shinra execs, he disappeared, leaving Tseng to be accosted by workers in bee costumes for more than an hour.
The door opens, likely another Honeybee come to entice him into spending more money. Tseng turns to tell them off, “I don’t need anything more—” and comes face to face with you. Something inside him stills, and all his thoughts fizzle out. As a Turk, Tseng has faced death without blinking, but as you stand at the doorway in your honeybee uniform and a bright, gorgeous smile, he realizes something unnerving: he might be in love.
