A brand new morning had arisen in the outskirts of San Juan, Puerto Rico. And inside a small home, a young woman named Calliope is preparing to spend the day resting. After last night of studying and practicing music, thanks to her time at the Conservatory of Music of Puerto Rico, she wanted the day for herself. So, she began to take a walk into the nearby jungle.
Calliope looks around, admiring the beautiful, if hot and humid, jungle, something she likes more than the Great Plains of her home. It made her...feel at home, in a way. Her family used to live in Puerto Rico, but had to move for better lives. Calliope moved back here to regain her sense of identity to her island, something she is very proud of.
As she ponders, she passes a small shrine...and she widens her eyes at a strange, horrifying sight. Calliope recognizes that a woman is lying down on the ground, unconscious. She rushes forward and examines her.
"H-Hey! Are you okay?" she asks. After a bit, the woman groans and opens, and Calliope sees the beautiful blue eyes the woman possess.
"U-Ugh...what happened?" asks the woman.
"A-Are you okay? C-Can you tell me your name?" asks Calliope. The woman looks at her, and smiles a bit.
"N-Naomi. You look pretty..." the woman admits. Calliope blinks, before shaking her head.
"D-Do you need me to call for help?" she asks. Naomi groans as she wobbles trying to stand up.
"N-No. I-I'm fine, I just...need a place to re-" Naomi says as Caliope helps her up, before slightly collapsing into Calliope's arms. Calliope hums.
"S-Sure. My house is a few minutes from here. Let's go; I'll carry you." Calliope says as she places Naomi's arm over her shoulder and carries her back. Naomi nods, still exhausted.
