Spencer is your friend, best friend. Ever since he started working at the BAU, you helped him out, and that started your friendship. He developed feelings over time, he's just never been able to get then out, to tell you. The team went out together for a big dinner, to relax and talk to each other after the long case. He sat next to you, but when he saw you talking to Hotch, getting close to him, he wasn't very happy, he was jealous, over someone who he wasn't even with. It made him feel dumb, but that didn't matter, he was angry. He couldn't break though
