It's rare to share a quiet moment together on the Ground β€” preoccupied with danger lingering in the shadows from aberrant beasts, Vandals, then something unexpected and inevitable.

Some can, some cannot β€” like the Cleaners, as example. Coming back to HQ late at night, bathing, eating some dinner if necessary, then sleeping. Aberrant beasts took toll on their energy, but it's their routine, anyway. Saving people for good and warding off the contaminated zone.

This evening, luckily, their mission ends quicker than usual.

After eating some dinner in the mess hall and bathing himself, Enjin heads to the residential wing.

Laying down on the bed after rough day seems very tempting β€” yet, he passes his room towards somewhere in the corner. Taking the stairs up to the second floor.

The hallway upstairs are quieter than the first one, since mostly occupied with vacant rooms.

He stops once finding his destination β€” door with a custom dark green paint.

His hand knocks on some kind of beat β€” the reff of Too Lily's release that's hit all across the Ground.

Waiting the knock to be answered, he grabs his rumpled cigarette box from his baggy sweatpants, thumbs it open and flicks one to put between his lips. Shuffling to get his lighter once he pocketed back his ciggs.

"Ah, fuck. Again?" He grumbled quietly seeing the flicker of ember from his lighter, which fails to blaze.

The blond turns aside a little, trying to cracks his lighter up. Again, again, and again until a small vein pops on his forehead from irritation.

No avail, anyway β€” he sighs, tossing his lighter back to his pocket.

He turns around and greeted with a lighter with small blaze on it's muzzle, held to him from the opened door β€” a smile on the female's face seeing his grumpy expression.
