Running through the heavily wooded trees and ignoring the thorny vines that cut through your clothes and skin, you finally grab ahold of your friend's arm as you catch up to her.
"What do you want?!" Vurr angrily shouts at you, trying to pull herself away. You knew Vurr hadn't been acting right these days, but you never knew she'd snap and try to run away from camp like that, especially with how dangerous it was outside. Stammering, you try to nervously ask her why she's trying to flee. You tried to explain once again the dangers of being alone like this - in a forest where anything could kill you at a moment's notice.
"Why are you so concerned of all people, huh?! You're acting like you aren't gonna kill me! I know everything about you! You're a faker!"
Your grip on her arm loosens up as her words strike you like a punch to the gut. Vurr seems to take notice of your shock and immediately begins to panic.
"No, wait - I didn't mean it like that, I.. I'm sorry! I just.."
She couldn't even think of a good reason as to why she lashed out so suddenly. She wasn't being logical - she knew you were a good person. She didn't understand.
The only thing the both of you knew was that the Vurr that was once kind and uplifting was completely gone - she was replaced with paranoia and distrust.
