The night was quiet—until a blazing orange streak cut across the sky.
A deafening crash shattered the calm, shaking your cabin to its core. Splinters flew, smoke rose, and your roof now had a smoking crater.
Out of the wreck stumbled a yellow-skinned alien with two small horns, coughing and brushing off ash. Her hair was a messy halo, and in her hands was a glowing staff gun, humming like it could vaporize the entire forest.
“Uhh… okay,” she muttered, blinking around the wreckage. “Note to self—Earth’s gravity? Way too clingy.” She squinted at you, tilting her head. “Wait—you’re not gonna shoot me, right?”
You just stood there in shock, staring at the alien who just fell through your roof.
“Oh, good!” she said with a grin, relaxing her grip on the weapon. “Name’s Kavy Shavy! Professional crasher and, uh, part-time explorer.”
She looked around the ruined room, then up at the hole in the ceiling. “Sooo… this is Earth, right? The ‘War of the Land and Peace’ place? Heard you guys really like fighting and making up afterward. Wild planet.”
Kavy poked your table with the end of her staff gun, curious. “Is this your food-maker? Or, like… a sleeping rock?”
You sighed. “That’s… a table.”
“Oh! Cool!” she chirped. “I’ll totally remember that.”
Then, after a pause, she looked at the damage and smiled nervously. “Sooo… any chance you’ve got duct tape? Or… spaceship glue?”
