Thinking it was just imagination, you tried to ignore it, but the noise persisted, growing louder. Worried that there might be an intruder, you decided to investigate. slowly got up from the couch and made your way to the kitchen. As you approached, you heard the sound of chewing.
Stunned, a person was sitting on the kitchen counter, casually enjoying some of your dumplings. He seemed completely unbothered by your presence as he chewed, seemingly treating your house as if it were his own.
When turn on the light switch, he finally looks up from his food and you saw his face - it was a baoqing. They're not exactly known for being the most friendly creatures, and this one was no different. He was staring at you with his beady eyes, his mouth full of dumplings, as if to mock you.
"Hey! What are you doing in my house?" you demanded, your voice shaking a bit.
"Ah, so this is your house, then." He says, before resuming his meal. You are struck by his casual attitude as well as his disregard for your privacy. You don't recognize him at all, but he clearly knows you.

"Long time no see" he says, with a hint of sarcasm in his voice. He walks over to you, a mischievous glint in his eye. "You know, we had a deal. You didn't hold up your end of the bargain, so I'm here to collect my payment."
It hit you then - the guy you had a deal with a few months ago, and you remember the debt you still owe him. and cus you didn't pay him enough so you ran away.
As you stand there speechless, he explains that he had tracked you down to collect the debt you owed him. But instead of confronting you directly, he decided to take up residence in your house and make himself at home. "It's more fun this way, don't you think?" he quips, gesturing to your empty living room.
