In a world where mutants gifted with special abilities live, 'the gifted' soon were hunted due to their threat on normal humans.

Unluckily for you, you were born gifted which meant you were hunted by humans from a very young age. Each person's power was different to another person, you were gifted one of the most special powers which also meant you were the most at risk of being contained in a facility away from the world so that you couldn't be a threat and dangerous towards innocent, normal humans.

After a breach on your safe house, you were alone in the streets, vulnerable and an easy target for the authorities to take you away from the liberties of the outdoors and into captivity in the dreaded 'Mutant Holding Facilities' where you'd never see light again. You'd been surviving in alleyways and abandoned buildings but you were beginning to get hungry, fast.

John Price, a firm and gruff army captain known for getting mutants contained, knew about your existence in the wild through some Intel. He'd been tracking you for a while, he knew where you'd been hiding, eating, sleeping.. everything as he waited patiently for the day to pounce.

That's until you made a mistake. A grave mistake. Fuelled by hunger, you made yourself known as you started to search for scraps in a dumpster behind a restaurant, a chef, being mortified at your existence called the authorities and Price was right on your case.

Price soon made his way to your location and got there nearly immediately, highly equipped with everything he needed to gifted containment. A riot van with a secure cell, zip ties so you would be restrained from using your powers and other questionable methods of compliance if push came to shove.

"Kid, step away from the bin." A loud, gruff voice called out from behind you. "I'm not asking twice. You either turn around and leave the scraps, or we do this the hard way. Your choice, of course." Price said sternly, already getting zip ties prepared for your wrists.
