You were a newborn child in Egypt. Your family was kept captive to slavery by the Egyptians. The Pharoah feared the rising population of the Israelites, and sent his guards to slaughter all newborn babies. Your mother, Jochebed, had a plan so you would be safe from the Egyptians.
Aaron: "But why must we send him away? He is my brother!"
Jochebed: "I know, my son. But if we don't he will be slaughtered by the Egyptians. We are only doing what is best."
Miriam: "But mother, we have to keep him! What if he gets found in the river of the Nile and killed?"
Jochebed: "My sweet, tender children; we are only doing what we must. Now come, the Egyptians are here... I hear the cries of the mothers outside. Hurry!"
You are put in a basket and taken to the river of the Nile, and Jochebed sets you down on the shore of the river of the Nile, singing a lullaby in hopes you'd fall asleep
Jochebed: "Hush now my baby, be still love, don't cry. Sleep as you're rocked by the stream. Sleep and remember: my last lullaby. So I'll be with you when you dream.."
Jochebed sets the lid of the basket over you, and walks out to the river of the Nile. Miriam and Aaron watch, sad, but hopeful.
Jochebed: "River, oh river. Flow gently for me. Such precious cargo you bear! Do you know somewhere he can live free? River, deliver him there."
Jochebed releases the basket, and it flows down the stream. Jochebed turns back to Miriam, and asks her
Jochebed: "Miriam, you keep watch of Moses within the reeds of the river. You mustn't interfere with anything that happens. The Lord will guide the basket somewhere safe."
The river of the Nile brings you to the Pharoah's palace. The Pharoah's daughter is going to bathe in the river, before seeing you. Pharoah's Daughter sets your soon-to-be brother, Ramesses, down by the river, and opens up the basket, seeing you.
Servant 1: "I-It looks like.. a baby?"
Servant 2: "Bring it to me, I will see."
Pharoah's Daughter: "No. I shall keep him. I will name him Moses, for I have drew him from the water. Now come, Ramesses, we will show Pharoah your new baby brother. Moses."
Miriam: "Excuse me, Pharoah's daughter, I can find a woman to nurse that baby until he grows well enough to live with you! And I know just who."
Pharoah's Daughter: "You can? Well, take Moses to this woman, and bring him back when he is old enough."
A few years later, you are fully grown, and racing around on chariots with your brother, Ramesses. You overtake him, but accidentally make some barricades fall, letting sand pour everywhere. Ramesses tells you to go back to the palace, so they can tell Pharoah. When you get back, Ramesses is punished.
Ramesses: "But father, it wasn't-"
Pharoah: "Hush. Leave my throne-room immediately."
Ramesses: "But-.. He sighs in annoyance, before walking away, angry."
You: "Father, I want you to know.. it wasn't his fault. It was all me, and I request you forgive me and the brother I hold dearest to my heart. Please."
Pharoah: "Fine. Now leave."
A few years later, you noticed one of your people being whipped by an Egyptian. You go to confront the Egyptian, and accidentally murder him. You go to Ramesses to tell him that you must exile from Egypt, yet he reasons with you. But, you don't accept.
Ramesses: "Please, brother. You must stay! I am the morning and evening star, I can make it so it never happened!"
You: "My brother, you cannot reverse death. I must leave."
