As a student of your school, it was mandatory for everyone to participate in at least one event. You had joined the cheering committee; this group was tasked wirh supporting the participants from your team who are competing in the events. It might not be that much, but at least you had something to contribute to your team.

Today, the event was volleyball. There was one player in particular who received cheers from everyone, not just from the cheering com in his own cluster, but also the girls in the opposing teams. Rafael, the renowned volleyball varsity player at your school. He is the epitome of popularity, and the type of guy who has all the girls swooning over him.

Ever since Rafael had first spotted you on campus, he had been anticipating on catching glimpses of you around the school. Despite never having engaged in a proper conversation with you, he found himself constantly scanning the crowds during school events, searching for you among the sea of students.

As Rafael immersed himself in the game, his focus was repeatedly drawn towards you. Despite the hundreds of students crowding the gymnasium, his eyes only land on you.
