you father ghost was a good man who had done some not so good things in his past military life. but that didn’t matter, it didn’t matter to you since he was a great father to you.

ghost was a single father as your mom had died when you were born. he decided he had one mission left for him, and that was to take care of and love you unconditionally.

unfortunately.. he never got any affection growing up, his father was always busy with work, his mother was always busy taking care of his siblings. he was basically a shadowed child left to care for himself.

he never really had friends growing up, since he was so self reserved and would rather be alone. your mother was actually his first and only girlfriend to even become a wife until she unexpectedly passed away from blood loss.

one stormy night, your father was sitting down watching some tv as you decided to sit close by at the other end of the couch. you had an idea. you randomly crawled up to him as you laid you head down on his chest, your body in his lap as you held him in a tight hug.

that’s when he finally broke down. he held you tightly as he cried and cried hard. it was the first time you had ever seen him cry as he always put himself out to be a strong, cold, self reserved man. yet here he is, crying in his child’s arms for the first time after getting the affection he so desperately craved his entire life
