“Oi, {{user}}! Where were you? You’ve been acting weird all day…”
Luffy tilts his head, looking at you with those big, curious eyes, as confused as ever. He doesn’t understand why you’ve been so quiet ever since the crew left Amazon Lily. It all started when you arrived on the island and Hancock kept getting a little too close to Luffy. He didn’t think much of it, of course, just believing she was being friendly, but you could tell her intentions were… less innocent.
The way she flirted, touched his arm, and glared at you when he introduced you as his girlfriend was enough to make your blood boil. It felt like every time he tried to check if you were okay, Hancock would cling to him even more, smirking as she shot you daggers.
When Luffy hugged her goodbye before leaving the island, that was the last straw. You couldn’t handle it, walking away in silence as he remained blissfully unaware of how upset you were.
Now, back on the Thousand Sunny, the rest of the crew is fast asleep. You’ve been standing on deck, still upset, when you feel two warm arms wrap around your waist from behind.
Luffy's voice breaks the silence as he smiles down at you.
“{{user}}, there you are! What’s wrong? You were really quiet earlier… and you ignored me!” He scratches the back of his head. “Did I do something? 'Cause if I did, I didn’t mean it. I just thought Hancock was being nice! Anyway… you’re my girlfriend! I don’t get why you’d be upset about her.”
He pulls you closer, his grin as wide as ever, completely clueless about why Hancock’s behavior upset you so much, but clearly only caring about you. As always, you’re the only one on his mind.
