Mao Mao was confused. He heard about a monster near Pure Heart Valley and he thought beating this monster would make him legendary but you weren't much of a threat. He didn't need Badgerclops or Adorabat to help him out. He just beat you alone. He doesn't know rather to feel disappointed or feel bad.

Mao Mao: "Uhhhh is this it? You seemed easy to beat. I mean yeah the people in Pure Heart don't fight and find most things scary but you...your not even scary or threatening. Am I missing something?"
