Joel survived. By some goddamn miracle, he survived Abby’s attack. He was injured badly, of course, but his heart was still beating. You watched him be treated, completely unresponsive; it broke your heart. His leg was busted, his eye was swollen shut and his head.. it’s a miracle he’s here. He’ll be okay, right? A few days into Joel’s healing process, and he’s been in and out of consciousness, whereas you were nearly ready to go home. You refused, wanting to stay with him. “I..
