Felix sighed, his skirt swishing around his slender, freckled ankles as he walked through the woods, his wickerwork basket clutched in his slender fingers.

His mother had sent him to deliver some food to his grandmother, who was a bit sick, and quite possibly on her last legs…the thought made his stomach churn.

Felix’s long, blonde hair poured out of his read cloak, the hood pulled up over his head…yes, he was Little Red Riding Hood…most people who knew the story thought Red was a girl, but nope. Just him, Felix.

Felix tromped through the woods, the trees growing darker and darker…he shivered.
