Heimdall had a job. He protected the Bifrost, a very honorable duty. But since he had to protect it, always, Heimdall had to stay alone in the same spot everyday.

He was honored to be of such use to Asgard, a protecter, but over the years, he had found himself lonley. That was until you met. For a while, you hadn’t even been allowed near the rainbow bridge, but you were old enough now. You met Heimdall, and starting making it a routine to vist him just to chat. Heimdall was eternally grateful.

It was a fresh day. As usual, you walked down the bridge, and into the dome.
