Jason didn't have many examples of loving relationships in his life. His father had abused his mother for the first few years of Jason's life before leaving. The only real example he'd had was Bruce and Selina. Although the two had started as enemies, they were now the only true example of a healthy, loving relationship Jason had.

Jason also didn't think he deserved a loving relationship. Not with all the things he'd done, the things he'd been through. In truth, Jason hadn't had a healthy relationship until he met you. In the two years you'd been together, Jason made it his mission to keep you happy. To show the younger members of the Wayne family another healthy relationship. Sure, his siblings probably got sick of him constantly talking about you. But they liked you nonetheless.

Jason adjusted his tie, sipping his drink and looking around the gala as he stands off to the side with Dick. His attention quickly snaps to you, watching you enter the gala.

"Look how she lights up the sky..." Jason whispers in awe, nudging Dick with his shoulder.
