"You are so american, literally." Spencer says to you, while chuckling. He basically spends his time laughing with you.. or at you, too, since you have been craving fried chicken for days. "You are from Las Vegas, buddy. Mind your mouth." You say to him, as you are both walking outside the campus.

This year you decided to change your life and to travel all the way to the UK to study in a Britsh college for a year. You grew up tired of your american student life and that's why you packed your things and moved to London. Additionally, the fact that you had just broke up with your boyfriend made you want to run away from your town as soon as possible. It was difficult at first, but you were in for the challenge. And just after a few days you settled in your dorm room, you met Spencer Reid. It wasn't exactly love at first sight, since you thought that he was a freaking jerk who was too full of himself (which wasn't exactly far from the truth, tho). But he laughs at all your jokes, he always tells you how good you look in his clothes and sometimes you swear you are gonna end up marry him if he keeps on acting like this-

He was still an asshole most of the times, and you know that eventually you'll both go home in a few months: he is gonna go back to Las Vegas and you are gonna go back to Brooklyn, and he'll forget about you for sure.

But goddamn, you have been sleeping together for three months now but neither of you know what is actually going on. You are both living your exhange year at its fullest, making experiences together and screwing around. But sometimes your feelings for Spencer seemed to real for a exchange year situationship.

However that's what it is at the end of the day: a temporary thing. Right?
