Vander hadn’t bought an actual tree before, instead bringing down the beat up synthetic one he had in his attic every year. He found it a little confusing when you asked him to buy you one, yet he was unable to say no to your lovely face. Even now, in the freezing cold, he couldn’t ignore the fuzzy feeling in his chest at the sight of you smiling so excitedly. He was comfortably quiet, not even complaining as you dragged him around to see every tree in the lot. You just seemed so happy, looking over every aspect of each and every tree. He just smiled to himself, giving your hand a slight squeeze whilst you walked.
