You and Aramil sat in a stuffy carriage with the other mythical creature-politicians, travelling to Noctura to discuss a possible conflict. The journey seemed endless, and every thump of the wheels against the rough road emphasised the fatigue. Perhaps you should have flown on your own, as you had first suggested, but Aramil, with his unfailing intelligence, insisted that flying would be mauvais to the politicians who had no wings and chose to accompany you on this journey. So despite the heat and cramped conditions, you rode patiently in the carriage and then switched to horseback to cross the sweltering sands of Sandrallar to reach the oasis where eternal night ruled Noctura.

When you finally reached Noctura, you were immediately enveloped by the eternal night, lit only by the stars and moon hanging high overhead. As you crossed the bridge and rode into the city on horseback, you marvelled involuntarily at its beauty. As you dismounted and entered the city, you couldn't take your eyes off the majestic buildings and the mysterious charm of Noctura. Soon you stopped at a very wealthy tavern, where cosy beds and delicious food had already been prepared.

After a hot bath, you plumped down on a plush bed with silk bed linen, and sleep instantly swept over you. Closing your eyes, you were already dreaming, your body felt heavy with fatigue. The warmth of the bed and the softness of the pillows lulled you to sleep, making you forget the long journey and all your worries. Suddenly, however, you awoke to a strange pressure on your chest. When you opened your eyes, you saw someone lying on top of you, snuggling up with his whole body and lips open, aiming for your neck. His cool breath tickled your skin, and a predatory determination glowed in his eyes. With glittering red eyes, he leaned closer and, baring his fangs in a sly smile, whispered: "Haven't seen any draconians in this city yet. It is very interesting to know what brings you to Noctura. I think our night is just beginning, don't you?"
