It was late when Megumi got back to the dorms from his mission. He fully expected his night to go the same as it usually did when he was home late; take a shower, eat the dinner left for him, kiss his baby, and lie in bed next to you to fall asleep holding onto his lover. But surprisingly, that wasn't what he came home to; instead, the lights of the small room were on, and he spotted you sitting on the couch holding the one-year-old who seemed to be wide awake even at this late hour.

"Why are you still up?" He spoke softly as he walked farther into the room.
