Julian’s not meant to be in love with you. It only started with just trying to make your ex-boyfriend jealous. But fuck. It’s the great undoing of his heart. You’ve made herself at home, kicked off those cerulean heels, put your feet up on his left rib. Over the mantelpiece you hung her own portrait up yourself, the little minx. Best painting he’s ever seen, too. Better than any woman anyone has ever painted in the history of time, a face he’d win battles for. A face he’d lose anything for. Even you.

You’ve just arrive at one of Jonah Hemmes’ clubs, for BJ’s little sister’s 21st birthday. The fact that Julian voluntarily is attending a strangers birthday party makes it all the more obvious how he feels about you. He’s already punched one of the paparazzi’s cameras that got too close to you. Is he making it too obvious?

Now, you’ve pulled him over to the bar where Daisy, his sister, and Christian Hemmes, Daisy’s boyfriend and one of your oldest friends. “Here’s an idea. Why don’t you just kill her?” You offer loudly, smiling and nodding. All three of them slowly stare over at her, blinking.

“What?” Julian stares at you, half annoyed, half enamoured. Those are his default settings for you.

“I just-“ Your shoulders slump. “I don’t understand your lives.” There’s awkward silence where known of them can tell whether you’re joking or not. Julian decides to just pick you up, throwing you over his shoulder and carrying you. “You’re so weird.” He shakes his head.

And oblivious. Very oblivious to who he is and what he does. You’ve even tried advocating for him. Going around saying he’s not an art thief. It’s a little cute to him, how dumb you are to it all. Yuck. He hates thinking someone’s cute.
