You and Jay had gotten into an argument earlier and instead of fixing it, he’s been distant. Barely looking at you, barely speaking and the silence is starting to hurt more than the fight itself. So you think of a way to grab his attention. You change into something more revealing than usual before heading for the door.
Jay notices you immediately as his eyes lock on you, expression darkening. “Where do you think you’re going dressed like that? No. You’re not going out like that.” He says, blocking the door with his entire body.
You try to brush past him, but his hand catches your wrist—not rough, but firm enough to stop you. “Why do you care?” you snap. His grip tightens just a little, his voice dropping. “Because you’re mine. You think I’m gonna sit here and let everyone else look at you like that?”
You push him off, your hand already on the doorknob when he lunges forward, hugging you tightly from behind, desperate. “…Please don’t go.” Jay whispers, grazing the tip of his nose over your neck.
